14 HANDS HOT TO TROT
RED BLEND 2009
WASHINGTON STATE
14 Hands Red Blend comes from the
Horse Heaven Hills region of southeastern
Washington State just above the Oregon
border. The loamy-sand and gravel soils
here yield juicy grapes that are harvested
at peak maturity and crafted into rich,
intensely flavored wines that are ready
to drink upon release from the winery.
Hot to Trot Red Blend is predominantly
Merlot, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah
and Petit Verdot added for balance and
complexity. It’s full bodied, yet not heavy,
with flavors of black currants and a hint
of spice, followed by a soft, mellow finish.
This is an ideal red to serve all summer
and will go with anything on the grill.
Truly, another great find at $12 a bottle.
Cheers!!
