FINE WINES FOR LE$$ – CHATEAU PESQUIE TERRASSES ROSE 2010

FINE WINES FOR LE$$

CHATEAU PESQUIE TERRASSES ROSE 2010

Greetings Notable Wine-ers,

Just tasted another outstanding rose from the 2010 vintage,
which is turning out to be one of the best in the last 5 years.

Chateau Pesquie is a family owned estate at the foot of
Ventoux Mountain in the southern Rhone Valley of France.
Here the vines take in an average of 8 hours of sun daily
and have the benefit of cool nights, giving the grapes an
ideal climate to ripen to perfection.

The clay and limestone gravel soil provides the optimum
drainage for the vines and yields rose of exceptional color
and balance.

Made from 50% Cinsault, 40% Grenache and 10% Syrah,
it’s a very full bodied rose with flavors of dried strawberry
and a hint of red cherry in the aroma. It has a long, dry
and elegant finish.

I enjoyed it with grilled fresh Coho Salmon.

Truly a steal at $14 a bottle.

Cheers!!
