FINE WINES FOR LE$$ – SANTA CRISTINA SANGIOVESE 2009

SANTA CRISTINA SANGIOVESE 2009 $13.

Tuscany, Italy

Located in the town of Cortona, within Tuscany,
Santa Cristina’s first vintage dates back to 1946.
The new winery was completed on the 60th
anniversary of the estate in 2006. Their quality
wines are among the finest in this historic region
of Italy.

Made from a blend of 85% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot
and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, it’s rich and full bodied
with ripe fruit, yet has moderate tannin and can be
enjoyed today. I recommend opening the bottle and
decanting it one hour before serving.

This wine will age well over the next 3 to 5 years.

Pair Santa Cristina Sangiovese with your favorite
grilled red meats, pasta with roasted vegetables
or marinated pork loin.

Cheers!!
