After meeting with Ivan 2 weeks ago, I realized how exciting this event is going to be. He has asked me to help out with the multi media aspect of the Game Showdown on Sunday, and a few other events throughout the Festival. I am honored to be a part of it, and look forward to making this event one to remember.
The Summit Wine and Food Festival is this weekend (Sept. 24-26, 2010) and it should be a very fun filled, exciting weekend indeed! This event provides so many wine and food options to entice and astound all levels of wine and food lovers, there truly is an event or package for everyone! You can either purchase a whole weekend pass or pick and choose your favorite events a-la-carte. There will be cook offs, wine and cheese pairings, a six course Gala Dinner, Spirits tasting, a “California Cult Wine” Tasting, and sooooo many more events to choose from throughout the weekend!!!
Another great part of the Festival is that it is hosted close to home at the Grand Summit Hotel… but if you don’t feel like going home, or are coming from out of town, the Grand Summit is offering rooms to event participants for only $99!!!
For those very elite and special event participants there is also a VIP after party where you can meet and talk with the chefs, sommeliers, and winemakers that are making this event possible. Not only will I be there, but I will be the DJ for this exclusive late night event on Friday after the Gala Dinner! Marco Araujo, better known as DJ Revo will be holding down the after party Saturday night… but I’ll be there late to show my support.
